The Canadian Salsa Dance Corporation is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving, promoting and evolving Latin dance culture through community programs, festivals, education, performance and artistic exchange.
It carries history, identity, music, movement and community. CSDC creates opportunities for people to experience Latin dance culture while supporting artists, educators and the communities that keep these traditions active and evolving.
Our work includes both accessible community programming and large-scale cultural events.

Accessible opportunities that introduce new audiences to Salsa, Bachata and Latin dance.
Large-scale events that connect dancers, instructors, performers and audiences.
Performance, teaching and competition opportunities that help artists share their work.
Training, workshops and instructor development that deepen technical and cultural understanding.
CSDC was founded in Montreal and has developed community programs and major Latin dance events that serve local and visiting participants.
Our festival activity now reaches multiple cities while maintaining a focus on culture, education, artists and community participation.

Organizations like CSDC create infrastructure around artists, education, public participation and cultural events. That work helps transform dance from a private activity into a shared community experience.
Our aim is to create more points of entry for people to discover Latin dance while respecting the history, music and communities behind it.
Whether you want to participate, volunteer, become a member, partner with CSDC or learn more about our programs, we would like to hear from you.
